Want to experience Mardi Gras in a whole new way? The Disco Amigos’ Disco Train is your chance to join a high-energy, funky rolling disco party that brings the groove to Mardi Gras parades! If you've ever dreamed of being in a parade but aren’t ready for the cost and commitment of joining a full krewe, then the Disco Train is calling your name. Open to anyone 21 and over, this is your ticket to a truly unique and unforgettable Mardi Gras adventure!
What You Get with the Disco Train Experience:
Ticket to the Krewe of Iris Parade: Be right in the action on parade day.
Full Disco Amigos Membership (Feb 1 - May 31): Enjoy access to all social and charity events, plus post-Mardi Gras parades.

On Parade Day, Disco Train Members will:
- Dance and entertain the crowd in true disco style!
- Enjoy food and drinks before and during the parade
- Access exclusive Amigos restrooms – aka the Disco Ball!
- Create unforgettable Mardi Gras memories with new friends and funky vibes.
Disco Train Essentials:
Dress Code: Disco attire is a must! Channel your inner ‘70s with butterfly collar shirts, bell bottoms, platform shoes, sequins, glitter, and fun accessories (think wigs, necklaces, sunglasses).
What to Bring: Keep it simple - Cell phone, wallet, keys. Either carry them on your person or put in a bag no larger than a quart-sized zip-lock bag. Small bags can be stored in box affectionately know as the "mierda" box during the parade.
BYOPD: Feel free to bring your own personal drinks (no glass bottles) to add to the Disco Train ice chest, which we will stock with beer, hard seltzer, and wine.
Party Rules: Mardi Gras regulations prohibit throwables, so no beads, cups, or party favors, please!
Wear comfortable shoes: The Disco Train experience spans about 4 miles, so come ready to walk and dance your way through the streets (no vehicles to ride on).

Meeting Location: TBA. We plan to set up on Napoleon Ave between St Charles Ave and Freret St. Be Sure to opt-in for text alerts for day-of parade information and exact meeting location.
Optional shuttle bus transportation is available to and from the parade. More details to come.
