Bring your art and artistry to the parade and lead the way for our Disco entourage!
Flow artists hoop, juggle, spin, and dance in front of the performers to "Herald the Coming of the Disco!" You will have plenty of space and crowd attention to show off your stuff! It is open to anyone 21 and over who wants to join the party.
During the parade, Flow Artists enjoy:
- Parading status
- Performing and interacting with the crowd
- Food and drinks before and during the parade
- Amigos port-o-let access

We have a bus that will bring us to the start of the parade and take back at the end of the parade. It costs $8 one way in either direction or $15 round trip. Reserve your spot here. Reservation code: BoogieBus2025
Please Be Aware:
Each participant is required to adhere to Mardi Gras ordinances
NOPD prohibits dragging, pulling or pushing any other equipment, including but not limited to: rolling carts, shopping carts, ice chests, mechanical bulls, or boom boxes.
No Party Favors! Mardi Gras laws do not allow parade marchers to throw or hand-out beads, cups, doubloons, stuffed animals, or any items.
You will be expected to act according to the Disco Amigos Code of Conduct:
Other things to know:
There will be a storage bin, affectionately known as the "mierda box" for you to put valuables in. Bring only what you can carry and fit into a 1 quart zip lock bag.
There will be a drinks cooler reserved for personal drinks. We recommend you put your drinks in a bag with your name on it.
If you plan to participate as a Flow Artist in 3 or more Mardi Gras parades, become a Disco Amigos Flow Artist annual member for $75! (membership year is from June 1 - May 31). Full membership includes the opportunity to participate in any parade the Disco Amigos dances in (Mardi Gras, Pride, Southern Decadence, Krewe of Boo, Holiday parade) and invitation to join our other year-round events.
